This group is for us to learn together the facts about challenges facing our environment. To find out how they have come about and how we can tackle them.
We will become more aware of our environment and better able to prioritise it for ourselves. You will be most welcome to bring-in your own knowledge and interests to help us move forward. Come along and contribute, learn for sure, help find the facts and join in with discussion. We will be better informed and environmentally wiser.
Our environment is vital and vulnerable. It has more and more become a casualty of industrial and commercial abuse. We can see this around us. Every day, we hear more and more about serious global problems caused by climate change.
We will learn together:
- more about our environment and its foibles
- how it is changing and the effects today
- how we ourselves can research the issues arising
- where we might helpfully act at home and about
- how we could assign exploratory tasks around the table
- to report our findings for u3a
- to enjoy discussion and good company
