Our preferred method of joining is directly online. Use the first button below to do this. This is by far the easiest method of joining. The button will take you to an online form where you fill in your details and make a subscription payment, either via Paypal or by using a debit/credit card. If you are unable to join online, you can download a membership application form. The .pdf version can be printed and completed for posting, scanning, photographing etc.
Membership Classes
Our 12 month membership year starts on 1st March and the fee you pay initially will depend on when in the year you join - see here for our fee structure. A sizeable portion of the membership fee is paid directly to the Third Age Trust and that is irrespective of when in the year you join. There are several types of membership, each with different fees and benefits.
- Full Membership - Our full membership can be either Individual or Joint.
- Individual - the standard membership
- Joint - available for two members at the same address who are classed as partners for tax purposes. A reduced fee is charged because a household with joint members will receive only one copy of the national magazine (u3a Matters) and, if you have no email facility, our own newsletter.
- Individual - the standard membership
- Associate Membership - Associate members are full members of another u3a and so have already paid the Third Age Trust Membership Fee. This allows us to reduce the fee paid by you to Pershore & District u3a. To qualify for Associate Membership, proof of membership of another u3a is required eg membership card / number.
- Cotswold Link Membership - Pershore & District u3a is a member of the Cotswold Link, where members of other Cotswold Link u3as can join one Pershore & District u3a interest group (space permitting), without having to pay a membership fee to our u3a. To qualify for this membership, proof of membership of another u3a is required eg membership card / number. A Cotswold Link member will have to pay any fees charged by the interest group they want to join. Cotswold Link members need to fill in a Pershore & District u3a membership form and have their details entered on our database.
