The aim of the Group will be to promote discussion, rather than providing lectures, so each month a new Philosophy topic will be led by a member of the Group giving a short introduction to encourage members' participation.
We gain knowledge and understanding of ourselves and the world around us by sharing experiences and insights, and the u3a format of small, friendly groups offers an opportunity to enjoy sharing and learning about Philosophy with like-minded members.
