We usually visit 2 churches in a morning. We arrange our own transport and meet at the first church for 10.00am spending 1-1.5 hrs in each, with hopefully the option of a pub lunch afterwards.

The focus is on the fabric of the buildings in question, rather than the monuments, unless they once served a liturgical function. Members are at times required to use prepared guidelines to help them formulate their own ideas about how the church acquired its present appearance and plan.

We have been meeting for 18 years, and visit churches of interest in the area, focusing on Medieval features.
