Our first trip was organised for June 2024, visiting Port Sunlight on the Wirral.
Our second trip was to St. Fagans in Wales on Thursday September 19th https://museum.wales/stfagans/
Our next trip was to the National Arboretum Thursday November 7th https://www.thenma.org.uk
The first trip of 2025 was to the Oakham Treasures Museum/Cribbs Causeway on Tuesday 25th February www.oakhamtreasures.co.uk
On the 9th March we visited the ABBA Voyage concert in London
We then went to Oxford on Tuesday 9th April with a Blue Badge guideOn December 1st we visited the Christmas Market in Bath
Our 7th trip on Thursday June 26th was to the seaside for a chip shop lunch and a paddle!
In August we went to visit Shrewsbury Wednesday 27th August
Thursday 30th October took us to Cardiff Castle/Central and the Bay area
Into 2026 and our first trip will be to Bourneville/Cadbury World

Port Sunlight trip
Our first was back in June when we went to Port Sunlight on the Wirral, which was founded by William Lever in 1888, very similar in principle to Cadbury Bournville in Birmingham.

St Fagans trip
Following the success of the first trip, I was encouraged to arrange another and by popular choice we arranged a trip to South Wales to St Fagans, the national museum of Welsh history. It boasts magnificent gardens and historical buildings, some of which were demolished in various parts of Wales and rebuilt on this site. There

National Arboretum trip
On this trip, we took 50 u3a members to The National Arboretum Museum for our third outing of the year, having visited Port Sunlight and St. Fagans in June and September.
